Development Chef

An opportunity has arisen for a Development Chef to join our Head Office in Caernarfon.

The role will be responsible for inspiring, designing, developing and evolving recipes and product ideas tapping into the latest food trends and culinary techniques. Working to customer briefs, meeting food values and cost and yield parameters, the role will develop excellent quality products and identify potential areas of growth. In addition, the role will work closely with the Production team to translate ideas into factory friendly, commercially viable products.

Home Economist

Flexible working hours (20 – 40 hours per week) (Monday – Friday)

An opportunity has arisen for a Home Economist to join our Head Office in Caernarfon.

The role will be responsible for producing samples for our customers in our test kitchen, developing new products ideas tapping into the latest food trends and culinary techniques. You will also work closely with the Production teams.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or a kitchen environment would be desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a professional approach at all times and able to adapt to situations as they occur, resolving problems and finding positive outcomes for all parties involved in a timely manner.

With strong inter-personal and communication skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels, the successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, be organised, with a can do attitude, prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Stock Controller

An opportunity has arisen for an office based Stock Controller to join our Head Office in Caernarfon.

The successful candidate will manage the day to day monitoring and administration of all stock including raw materials, finished products and packaging. The role will complete regular stock checks and proposed vs actual comparisons to complete daily updates to the factory management team.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of stock control in a factory environment within a fast paced food business. With strong numerical, accuracy, attention to detail and communication skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels, the successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, be organised, with a can do attitude, prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

With excellent Microsoft skills especially in Excel software. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional approach at all times and able to adapt to situations as they occur, resolving problems and finding positive outcomes for all parties involved in a timely manner.

Technical Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an office based Technical Manager to join our Head Office in Caernarfon.

Previous experience within the Food Manufacturing industry – vital for this role. Influencing skills – must be able to challenge existing systems (and people) to bring about improvement. Strong communicator when dealing with Customer’s Technical manager of technical issues. Sound technical and food safety knowledge. Experience of Quality Management Systems including BRC. Advanced HACCP and Food Hygiene certificate. Report writing, clear and concise presentation of information. Lead Auditor. Self-motivated, focused and able to work on own initiative.
