The product development team of butchers and chefs at Ready Foods look to the future to stay ahead of food trends and provide customers with new and classic menu options which, as the company name suggests, are ‘ready’ to go. They very recently launched a boneless chicken range which was developed so that their customers could tap into the consumer preference for boneless meat options. Following on from this successful launch Ready foods are delighted to announce the addition of 6 new marinated boneless pork & gammon joints to its already extensive trend driven foodservice & retail options.

Ready Foods Commercial Director Duncan Sheffield said ‘The Ready Foods team is genuinely passionate about food and they certainly put our customers’ needs at the centre of everything we do.’ He went on to say ‘Each of the new boneless pork & gammon joints come packaged in single sized portions avoiding any waste issues making them a cost effective choice for foodservice operators. Both the pork and gammon options are evenly & generously marinated and then individually fully cooked and quick frozen to lock in flavour and to ensure our customers receive a quality product time after time. The marinades we developed especially for this range really do have something for all tastes which reflect not only new and emerging flavour trends but also include a nod to classic dishes.’

The new Boneless Pork joints come in 3 varieties starting with the classic flavour combination of Sage & Onion, just add a rich gravy and seasonal vegetables for a perfect Sunday roast or make the most of current trends with the Smokey BBQ and Salt & Pepper options. The Boneless Gammon joint range also gives caterers classic flavours and is available in a plain boneless joint and a Honey & Mustard marinade option. To round off the new range we also offer a deliciously succulent Maple BBQ Boneless Gammon Joint and all of the new range would make perfect additions to any menu.
