Frozen food producer Ready Foods have invested nearly three quarters of a million pounds in new state-of the-art cooking equipment, continuing their major drive to increase output and drive growth at their Caernarfon headquarters.

New ovens have been installed at the manufacturing facility, increasing efficiency and output at the plant.

The investment follows a £2.5m expansion that doubled the size of the Caernarfon base.

Ready Foods supply the pub and restaurant industry across the UK with a number of high-profile clients ranging from a major restaurant group to wholesale distributors and retail.

Ready Foods Managing Director Iwan Thomas said: “We are committed to continuing investment and improvement at Ready Foods, and the installation of the new oven is part of that drive.

“This highlights our focus on increasing capacity and sales to meet all our customers’ technical requirements for quality, cost and service.”

Ready Foods, part of the Meadow Vale Group, supports a number of service sector jobs in the area and is closely involved with the local community, supporting and sponsoring local organisations and charities. All product production is carried out in house with bespoke recipes developed for individual customers.
